Latest Update: The Last Date of submit applications for the Department of Technical Education Scheme is October 31, 2024. This is only for SC/ST students and is not applicable to those eligible for the Kin of Defence scheme.

- For the students to complete the application submission Process in SSP, it is mandatory that the student’s academic information for the year 2024-25 is available in either the UUCMS portal or the concerned University/Board pushes the academic data of the UNIDATA server.
- For a student to apply as a hosteller in SSP, it is mandatory that the hostel registration information of the students is available either in the State Hostel Portal (SHP) or in SSp-HMIS Portal.

Eligibility Criteria for SSP Post Matric Scholarship
Social Welfare Department
- Must be a resident of Karnataka
- Must belong from SC/ST/OBC category
- Family’s annual income must be less than INR 2,50,000.
- Must have scored at least 50% in the last examination
Benefits: Complete fee reimbursement for hostel (both private and government)
Department of Technical Education
- Must be a resident of Karnataka
- Must belong from SC/ST/OBC category
- Family’s annual income must be between than 2.5 lakhs and 10 lakhs
- Must have scored at least 50% in the last examination

Tribal Welfare Department
- Must be a resident of Karnataka
- Must belong from SC/ST/OBC category
- Family’s annual income must be INR 2,50,000 or less
- Must have scored at least 50% in the last examination
