Scholarship Award Amounts
Scholarship awards for the Union Plus Education Foundation Scholarship Program range from $500 to $4,000 and they are one-time cash awards for study beginning in the Fall of 2023. Students may reapply each year.
The Isaiah’s Award is named in honor of Isaiah C., a beloved child who was fostered and adopted by a current, long-time employee of Union Plus. Applicants for this award must have a special connection to the foster care system and describe their personal, employment, volunteer experiences, or career goals related to the foster care system in their application.
The Scholarship Committee will determine scholarship award recipients by May 31 each year. Award recipients will be notified by mail during the first week of June, and all applicants will receive an email with notification that the award list is posted. Please note that no information about the status of an application can be provided before award announcements are made due to the volume of applications received.
