Eligibility Criteria for NEC Merit Scholarship
- Permanent resident of any of the North Eastern States. (Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim, Tripura)
- Student must not be in receipt of any other scholarship/financial assistance from any other source.
- Students eligible for scholarships must have admission to diploma, degree, postgraduate, or enrolled in M.Phil./Ph.D. programs at any government-recognized institute.
- Parent / guardian’s annual income from all sources shall not exceed Rs 8.0 lakh.
- Minimum aggregate of 60% marks in the previous examination is required.

Application and Verification Process
