Eligibility Criteria for e-Medhabruti Scholarship
To be eligible for Mukhyamantri Medhabi Chatra Protsahan Yojana (e-Medhabruti), a candidate must:-
- A permanent resident of Odisha State.
- All category (SC/ ST/ OBC/ SEBC/ General) students are eligible to apply this scholarship.
- The income of the parents of the students from all sources should not exceed Rs.8.00 lakh per annum.
- Minimum 55% Marks in last exam appeared.
- Students can apply only in the year of joining (1st year of the course).
- Outside students (students of Odisha but studying outside Odisha) are also required to apply online for this scholarship.
- Students should not receive any other scholarship by the state or central government.
- Students enrolled in diploma courses are not eligible for Technical & Professional Merit Scholarships under e-Medhabruti.

Selection Process for e-Medhabruti Scholarship Scheme
The candidates will be selected based on the following criteria:-
- The aggregate percentage of marks obtained in the last qualifying examination
- This will be done for each merit category, district-wise and block-wise.
- The selection process will be executed in descending order of academic merit until the allocated scholarship quota is reached.
Note:- In case of a tie, students with lower annual household income will be given preference.
