भारत सरकार के श्रम और रोजगार मंत्रालय के तहत श्रमिक कल्याण संगठन ने बीड़ी, चूना पत्थर और डोलोमाइट, लोहे मैंगनीज क्रोम अयस्क खदान श्रमिकों के बच्चों जो मान्यता प्राप्त शैक्षणिक संस्थानों में अध्ययन कर रहे हैं, वित्तीय सहायता प्रदान करने के लिए NSP Scholarship Portal पर Labour Pre & Post Matric Scholarship Scheme के लिए ऑनलाइन आवेदन जारी कर दिया गया है।
ऑनलाइन आवेदन करने की प्रक्रिया हर वर्ष अक्टूबर माह में शुरू हो होती है। इस योजना के तहत वित्तीय सहायता प्राप्त करने के बाद, मजदूरों के बेटे / बेटी (बच्चे) शैक्षणिक वर्ष 2023-2024 में कक्षा 1 से उच्च शिक्षा प्राप्त कर सकेंगे। बीड़ी / सिने / आईओएमसी / एलएसडीएम वर्कर्स के वार्डों के बच्चों के लिए छात्रवृत्ति की राशि 1000 रुपये से 25000 हजार रुपये तक स्वीकृत है।

Eligibility Criteria for NSP Scholarship to the Wards of Beedi/Cine/IOMC/LSDM Workers
- Either of the parents of the students should be Beedi, Iron Ore Manganese & Chrome Ore Mines, Limestone & Dolomite Mines, Cine worker with at least six months service. This also includes Contract/Gharkhata (Home Based) workers also.
- A citizen of India.
- Monthly Income of the Worker’s family from all sources should not exceed as
- Beedi Workers – Rs.10,000/-
- Mine Workers – Rs. 8,000/-
- Cine workers – Rs. 10,000/-
- Applicant must have passed the last qualifying examination.
- Applicant pursuing studies through Correspondence are not eligible.
- A scholarship holder under these schemes will not hold any other scholarship/stipend.
