Latest Update: Currently, applications for renewal of students admitted in session 2023-24 and previous years are being accepted on the portal of Gaon Ki Beti and Pratibha Kiran Yojana. The last date for applying under the scheme is 20-07-2024. Therefore, make sure to lock the application before the due date.
It is informed that the application process for new/renewal applications in Gaon ki Beti Scheme and Pratibha Kiran Scheme has been started in the session 2022-23. Under the new application, only those girl students should apply, who are eligible for the session 2022-23, Must have taken admission in the first year of session.

Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the Pratibha Kiran Scholarship, candidates must have the following criteria:
- The applicant of the scheme should be a permanent resident of Madhya Pradesh.
- The applicant can be a resident of the urban area of MP state.
- The candidate of the scheme should have passed class 12th with 60% or more then.
- The candidate who wants to apply for the scheme should belong below the poverty line. Financial assistance under the scheme will only be provided to BPL girl students.

Step 1: Registration
- Registration can be done through MP Scholarship official portal : www.scholarshipportal.mp.nic.in, Upon registration, candidates will receive a user ID and password.
Step-2: Application Form:
- Using the provided user ID and password, candidates will fill out their application form and upload the necessary documents.
Step-3: Verification of the Application Form
- The admitted candidate must submit their application form and documents to the respective institute for verification purposes.
- The institute will verify the candidate’s application against the original documents.
- The institute will also verify the submitted bank details, including payment of the fee, and other relevant information.
- Based on the verification, the institute will recommend eligible cases for sanction, temporarily reject applications due to missing information, or reject certain cases altogether. The institute will upload the signed and stamped scholarship recommendation proposal on the portal for the designated sanctioning authority.
