Eligibility Criteria
- Students who have passed Class 5th and 8th in government/government-aided/recognised school under the Department of Education (Schools), Manipur.
- Student should be a resident of Manipur.
- Students must have met the following academic criteria, achieving a satisfactory aggregate in their annual promotion examination during the previous year.
- General: Minimum 60% marks
- OBC: Minimum 55% marks
- SC/ST: Minimum 50% marks
Scholarship Benefits
- The rate of scholarship for the State Competitive Scholarship Examination for Class 5th and 8th Manipur will be as per Rules and terms and conditions of the scholarship approved by the Examination Committee from time to time.
- The duration of scholarship will be consecutive 3 (three) years for class V and 2 (two) years for class VIII.
